Artist
Roos Kobus is a spatial and speculative designer, climber, kitesurfer and optimist. Her practice focuses on the entanglements of her human body with the Earth. She questions their division and explores their in-between spaces to
explore possible new futures of collaboration and
care.
Her pieces combine digital and physical work, weaving together words, wood, fibre, and video and collage. Next to Rocks, Lichens, Fungi and Moss, she likes to seek collaborations with people.
Work
Roos recently graduated from the MA Ecology Futures at the Master Institute of Visual Cultures with her video installation called Becoming Geological. Her work is on display at the masters’ graduation show Adrift, A Shift in Willem Twee, s’Hertogenbosch from June 29th to July 6th.
